Weekly Wrap-up, July 9th – 13th

It’s been another busy week shooting up and down the east coast. We’ve had a lot of early morning call times taking us down to Maryland, Washington DC, back to home base in Philadelphia, and up to NYC all in the name of making pictures. Speaking of travel, we’re on the road as I write this, stuck in NYC traffic – don’t worry though, I’m not blogging and driving at the same time. It’s been a long run of shoots but a good one these past few days – keep reading to see what else we were up to this week…

Even with all of our travels up and down the east coast, we managed to stop by the studio for a few minutes and shoot some portraits.

Not to mention, we had Dave Grohl assisting with us for a shoot in DC. Just kidding, this is the awesome Nate Pesce standing in for a light test with some cables.

And as usual, Chris got comfy while shooting this week.

In case anyone was wondering, yes you can learn how to do first aid on your pets. We found that out this week.

Yes, this was how our week ended… It was definitely a long week.

As far as what you may have missed this week on the internet:

 - We blogged about what it really means to be a studio manager

 - We share our feature in the 2012 Communication Arts Photo Annual

-Heather Elder shares Chris’s thoughts on Time vs. Money

 - A Photo Editor offers insight into blogs hiring photo editors… we’re not accepting resumes over here quite yet

- Fellow photographer Steve Giralt explains why he hates his camera

Last but not least…

That’s how you celebrate 2 years of working as a studio manager! (yes we did eat all of that)
