Weekly Wrap-up, August 15-19th
It’s been another busy week in and around Philly. We spent some time in Cape May, down at the Jersey Shore, shooting and taking in the sun. We didn’t have too much time for lounging on the beach or taking a dive in the ocean, but it’s all good – no sand or salt water in the cameras. Keep reading to see what else happened this week.

We acquired some new gear, the “Sun Swatter” from California Sunbounce. It’s definitely an interesting product – perfect in theory and maybe not so perfect in actual practice, especially on a windy beach at the Jersey Shore. The idea of having a portable 6′x4′ silk is pretty awesome, but again, in practice it’s a little more difficult. It’s more like having a giant 24 sq ft kite.

We’re also in full-scale production mode for a second round of promotional books that are featuring new and update work. If you happened to be one of the lucky recipients of the first book, keep an eye out for the second one, coming soon…
As for what you may have missed this week on the internet (lots of things related to football):
- Chris wrote about shooting Michael Vick for Philadelphia Magazine
- We followed that up with the designer, Jesse Southerland’s story about working with Vick
- You can read the article itself at Philly Mag’s website
- And while you’re wasting time on the internet, we came across this awesome blog this week
Last but not least, one more shot of the Jersey Shore, Instamatic style:
